Kingsun LED Street Light Project in Malaysia at September 2010.

At year of 2010, our Malaysia customer Snfor has achieved the first pilot LED street lighting project in Malaysia to replace existing 400W HPS street lamp, and the application site at Genting Sempah Tunnel (East Bound). The pole height, distance and pole arrangement is 12m, 9m and double row opposing respectively.
Based on the importance of this pilot project and to much more application site information, we went to the site to do research and assessed the photometry performance between ours and other several brands during mock-up testing, after doing the comparison by using the lux meter and other testing machine; we found both the illuminance and luminance value of ours is the best and also the uniformity is quite high which more than 0.7, therefore, our Malaysia Snfor gained the project finally.
After installation of the total 1,000 pcs LED street lighting lantern, the scene is so spectacular and stirring and also it is an obvious difference of visual after asking the comment of several drivers. Besides, the consultant, contractor and highway department were satisfied with the quality and photometry performance of our LED street lighting lanterns.
We believe the highway department will use the LED street lighting to replace existing HPS street lamp gradually and in the new highway project based on the success of the first pilot project.
