In December 2010, Kingsun successfully completed Dongguan East River Levee LED street light retrofit project, with the total length of 52km, it has become the longest street lighting project in the world in 2010.
The road has 6 lanes, 2 directions, 35 m pole spacing, 12 m mounting height. After making accurate simulation in the AGI software, based on the result of field testing, we suggested to adopt 2 rows, opposite lamp arrangement, using more than 2000 pieces Kingsun LED road lamp KS-A112TX to replace the original 250W HPS light. According to on-site examination, the average illuminance reaches about 221ux and uniformity is about 0.6. The local government and residents all felt very surprised with the brightness and the uniformity of our led street light. Drivers said, thanks to replacing kingsun led street lights, they got nicer sight and felt more comfortable than before when driving on the road.
